2. Family Membership

Becoming part of the TJs Minis Family

Thinking about giving rugby a go? Come and try it first. Every new player is welcome to two free trial sessions before you commit to anything, so your little one can find their feet, meet the coaches, and see if they fancy those muddy Sunday mornings before you sign up.

Once they're hooked, here's everything you need to get them properly registered.

If your child is under 18 on 1 September, they come under Family Membership, which covers you and all your playing children together. There are two quick things to sort:

Affiliate with the RFU - You and your child(ren) need to be affiliated to TJs through the RFU's GMS system. This is what allows them to train and play fully with us, so it's worth doing early. The RFU has step by step guidance for both new registrations and renewals if you've been with us before. Details on how to do this can be found here.

Pay your membership on JustGo - Head to JustGo to pay and download your e-membership card:

  • Register yourself first, including your emergency contact details
  • Add each of your children individually to your membership
  • Select the right membership for each person so you're charged the correct amount

Medical Consent
Please complete a medical consent form (either paper copy or on Spond) for each playing child. This helps us look after everyone safely on the pitch.

Stuck on any of it? Drop us a line at minis@tjrfc.co.uk or contact the Club Membership Secretary.
