Welcome to TJ Minis!
Whether your child has never touched a rugby ball or already owns three pairs of muddy boots, they are welcome here. Our Minis section is for boys and girls from Reception through to Year 6. It does not matter whether they are fast or still finding their feet, bursting with confidence or a little unsure. Rugby has room for all of them, and so do we.

Age Groups
We run age-grade sessions from U6 through to U11:

• U6 – Reception / Year 1
• U7 – Year 2
• U8 – Year 3
• U9 – Year 4
• U10 – Year 5
• U11 – Year 6

From U7 upwards, children can take part in tag rugby matches and local festivals throughout the season. Contact rugby is introduced from U9, with coaches supporting every player through that transition at their own pace.

The season wraps up with an end-of-season tour: a few days of matches, laughter, and the kind of memories that get talked about for years.

Sunday Training
We train on Sunday mornings from September through to the end of April, at Tonbridge Juddians RFC in Tonbridge, Kent.

• U6 and U7: 10:00–11:00am
• U8, U9, U10, and U11: 9:30–11:00am

Training times and locations can occasionally change due to weather or fixtures, so we always recommend getting in touch before your first visit. Drop us an email at minis@tjrfc.co.uk and we will make sure you have the latest details and know exactly where to go.

Come and Join Us
New families are always welcome to come along, try a few sessions, and get a feel for the club before committing to anything. There is no pressure and no expectation, just an open invitation to see what TJ Minis is all about.
