The second match also started strongly with both teams competitive at the breakdown and looking for opportunities to release players with some good passing, and Fred Parton and Oakley bossing the game from the outset, enabling Oakley to score our first try on 1 minute, and then go over again in the 4th minute.
A dominant display at centre saw Bertie use his physcial strength well to power through the defence and score our third on 6 minutes, as the game already looked to be one-sided. Some dominant forward play led to Howard scoring our 4th in the 10th minute, and from the back of the scrum, Fred's quick-mind saw him find a gap to weave through to the tryline on 11 minutes.
Just 4 minutes later, soem good passing between the backs and a great lay off by Zayn gave Bertie the chance to score his second and TJs' 6th on the stroke of half time.
TJs dropped to 11 players after the break, as Sutton inevitably were tiring, having played 45 minutes at this stage, but TJs were relentless and continued with some great attacks, Callum enjoying charging into the opposition at will, creating space for our backs, which led to Bertie's hattrick on 24 minutes, before Callum got the reward he deserved, charging over the line - with a couple of their players hanging off of him - on 25 minutes.
We agreed to call it a day at that point, after a tough few games that all participants will have enjoyed.
The day finished with match tea and a few drinks in the clubhouse, and we are hoping to arrange a reverse fixture with them next season!
