Tjs have yet to win at Birmingham Moseley and they just missed out again as they slipped to a 35-26 defeat in a game where they struggled to spark into life.
Birmingham were 21-0 up before Tjs were able to fire a meaningful shot of their own as Sam Morton-Smith scored on the left. Harrison Sims added a second try shortly after but Birmingham scored at the end of the first half to go in 28-12 up and a try bonus point in the bag
The second half saw Tjs have a purple 5 minutes in the final quarter as Oscar Waite and Connor Lloyd both scored to make it 28-26 but Birmingham had the last laugh as they scored at the very end to deny Tjs a losing bonus point
The 2s got back to winning ways with a 19-24 win at Gillingham Anchorians in their Counties 1 Kent match. The 2s are in 3rd spot behind new leaders Heathfield & Waldron and Sevenoaks 2s. The 3s beat Tunbridge Wells in their Kent A Rural tie 45-12
