Uneaten Run Halted

Uneaten Run Halted

TJs slipped to their first N2E defeat of the season on Saturday. The 2s came up short too whilst the Ladies had to postpone their game on Sunday

TJs were blown north on Saturday by Storm Bert and it did it's best to play havoc with both squads performances come 3pm as well. A strong cross wind made kicking a bit of a lottery but it was BSE who came out on top to bring TJs excellent form to a soggy halt.
TJs led 12-14 at the break courtesy of tries from Harrison Sim and Shadyn Osgood with the extras added by Sam Evans. And when they added a third through Tommy Nicoll things seemed to be brightening for TJs at 12-21.
But slowly but surely BSE found a way back and as they edged in front the game slipped away from TJs despite their best efforts to convert territory and possession into points. Ultimately it was an uphill battle, literally, and it wasn't to be.
So nil league points to show for their efforts but they remain top of N2E as Dorking's game with Guernsey was called off as the Islanders could not fly.
TJs have a Saturday off before returning to The Slade to face Henley Hawks at 2pm
The 2s were also away on Saturday and they headed to Sittingbourne where they slid to a 25-13 reverse. The result sees them slip from top to second in Counties 3 Kent after T Wells beat Hastings & Bexhill 17-14
The 2s also have next Saturday off and they too will return at The Slade on the 7th December at 2pm when Old Gravesendians are the visitors.
No game for TJ Ladies on Sunday as their match against Medway was postponed.
The TJs Academy though were in action and they continued their fine form with the As and Bs both winning their respective league matches away at Canterbury 19-20 and 7-24.
It's a busy time for the Academy with the Bs away at Medway next Sunday before the As and Bs head to Sevenoaks a week later.
The U16 Boys have back to back league games coming up whilst the Girls go for a spot in the last 16 of the National Colts Cup in 2 weeks time as well.
