Tjs Living the Green

Tjs Living the Green

Adam Hookway9 Nov - 20:26

Another stellar weekend for TJs as we see the GREEN W against so many results

If you are lucky, you have your moment. But it is never more than a moment. You have to enjoy it while it lasts. PS - make it last
It started with a big bang on Saturday and ended on an equal high come Sunday and what a weekend for TJs
TJs welcomed Sedgley Park to a sunny Slade on Saturday for National 1 Round 9 action and the 1st XV squad came up trumps to keep their WLW run alive with a resounding 56-0 win
Four converted first half tries were followed by four second half converted tries for a perfect Eight and TJs 5th win of their N1 season
Curtis Barnes (3), Will Holling, Lewis Gjaltema, Shadyn Osgood, Tom Kendrick and Dan Laventure were the try scorers whilst Connor Lloyd (6) and Sam Evans (2) added the extras in a near perfect display.
TJs simply had too much pace for Sedgley Park both in defence and attack and whilst the visitors had plenty of ball they could not find their way to the try line in a splendid TJ performance of defence and attack.
We all know what a Nil point result feels like but TJs should rightly celebrate such a performance with so much of the season still to come.
Alongside that result there were significant wins for the 2s and 3s against Vigo and Gillingham Anchorians respectively.
The 2s travelled to Vigo to secure an impressive Counties 2 Kent 7-22 win with tries from Tom Roper, Santiago Savage, James Mardon and Richard Savage (Jnr) and a conversion from Luke Beaumont
The 3s went even better with a resounding 53-7 home win over Gillingham Anchorians 2s to show what strength in depth feels like.
On Sunday TJ Ladies took on Cranbrook and ran out 35-5 winners whilst the U16 Girls continue to impress with a 5-51 away league win away at Sevenoaks
And to cap things off the TJs Academy Colts B won 66-17 away to Westcombe Park in their league match
Pretty sure other results to be shared but take a look at the Pitchero app and it's Green Ws all the way this weekend - keep it up everyone
