TJs headed to Blackheath for N1 R6 on Saturday but came away with literally nothing as the hosts proved too strong and shutout TJs on the scoreboard
7=0 down after 10 minutes and TJs hung in there until the last minute of the half before they conceded again and trailed 14-0 at the break.
Nothing to show from either side in the third quarter but 4 Blackheath tries, all but one converted, in the final quarter secured an emphatic home win.
TJs certainly put in the effort but any attempted attacks were shut down swiftly and efficiently and Blackheath seemed to have another gear that they could click into as one.
TJs will be hoping to bounce back at home to Plymouth Albion next Saturday KO 3pm
Plymouth climbed to 4th in the N1 table after a one point win over Rosslyn Park whilst leaders Rotherham, who TJs travel to play the following Saturday, remain the only unbeaten side after their 25-41 defeat of Leicester Lions
The 2s were also in action in their Counties 2 Kent campaign and they won away at Medway 21-41. The squad had to dig deep to fight back from a losing position in the first half to secure an impressive win despite a number of injuries during the game
