Storm Austen caused a lot of chaos across the country on Saturday and it seems the south east faired a lot better than many. But that didn't extend to Tjs 2s who slid to a heavy 7-55 loss to Heathfield & Waldron.
Ball retention and game control eluded the team for long periods and H&W took advantage running in 8 tries to just the one by Tjs from Isaac Divine. That result enabled H&W to climb above Tjs to second in Counties 1 Kent with Sevenoaks 2s retaining top spot.
The 3s faired much better in their Kent A Rural game away at Medway 3s where they won 5-36 to climb to 6th in the table and leave Medway winless and bottom
The sun came out on Sunday and Tjs Women headed to the coast to tackle Hove 2s in their Junior Cup game. They secured an exciting 10-22 win to progress to the next round
Also on Sunday Tjs Academy Colts B beat Thanet Wanderers 45-19 in a friendly whilst the U16 Boys enjoyed an exciting 33-43 friendly away at Dover
The U13s enjoyed a three way friendly with Westcombe Park and Chichester with the Vikings winning 10-15 and 10-25 respectively. The Warriors also did the double with 5-55 and 10-15 victories
No game for Tjs National 1 squad as they took a break ahead of the trip to Birmingham Moseley this coming Saturday and a 3pm KO in Round 8
