It will be damp underfoot on Saturday so come prepared as the TJs v Blackheath game will take place on Brightfriars, namely the pitch furthest from the Club and adjacent to the train tracks.
Access will be via the main Sportsground and not via the 1st XV pitch due to flooding - please allow yourselves extra time to get there for 2pm
The extra distance should also enable TJs to help Tommy Nicoll celebrate his 200th TJs cap at some point as he should impact from the bench.
Tommy registered with TJs way back in 2015 and has not taken a backward step since. Starting in the midfield as a hard hitting centre he has morphed in later years (he's still only 31 mind) into a forceful backrower, and he will need all those rowing skills come Saturday afternoon no doubt
Blackheath arrive sitting pretty in 3rd place in the table with TJs in 7th. They've lost just 3 times so far this season and will arrive in confident mood after a big win at home against Dings last time out.
TJs are also in confident mood although they had to put in some hard graft last Saturday against Birmingham & Moseley where they had to settle for a share of the points.
A packed clubhouse, outside marquee bar and very soft going should provide an exciting spectacle
The 2s v Aylesford Counties 2 Kent game was also supposed to be at home but that's been switched to Aylesford. And the 3s head off to face Canterbury 4s for their Kent B Rural encounter
