No National 1 rounds for Tjs for 2 weeks but you can still get your Tj rugby fill as the 2s and 3s plus Ladies are in league action
The 2s are top of Counties 2 Kent and they travel to take on Sidcup 2s. The selectors are especially excited with the squad as they have selected some talented home grown Tjs talent with 12 of the 18 man squad having come up through the Tj junior and Academy ranks in recent seasons.
Tjs are 5 points clear at the top with a game in hand and 4 rounds to go. The result could be a big one as second and third, Thanet and Aylesford, lock horns on Saturday too. A win for both Tjs and Aylesford could see that gap at the top grow.
The 3s are also in action and with a home tie against Whitstable 2s and a 3pm KO at The Slade - GET DOWN AND CHEER THEM ON
Tjs ate third in Kent B Rural and 3 points behind the league leaders, Medway 4s. Tjs still have to play both Medway 4sand second placed Maidstone 2s before the season ends
The squad are full of home grown talent with a number of current Academy players making their senior debuts (D) on Saturday. Riley Young, Christopher Zaug (D), Zac Dixon (D), Will Dadswell (D), Tom Costello, Will Connon (D) and Jack Buckley (D) should all tire the more experienced players a fair bit.
Young Zaug starts at scrum half and his Dad, Ben, starts in the front row. We are sure they will meet at scrum and lineout time but it will be interesting to see if they can combine about the pitch as they both like to play expansive rugby
On Sunday Tj Ladies are also in action at The Slade with a 2pm KO against Sheppey. The Ladies are top of the league by 6 points and a game in hand. Just 3 rounds to go and another win on Sunday will be a big step towards the title.
DON'T FORGET the clocks 'spring' forward on Sunday morning so you 'lose' an hour
