Highly rated fly half Sam Evans signs for TJs ahead of the 2023/24 season. Sam joins from Worthing but has previously played for Blackheath, Biella Rugby Club in Italy, and London Irish academy. Sam has also recently been playing for Kent, winning the player of the final in their County Championship win at Twickenham and leaving their South Africa tour with a 3-0 win record.

On the signing of Sam, Head Coach Seb Sherwood said “We are delighted to welcome Sam to TJs. We have been trying to sign Sam for the last few seasons so we are thrilled to finally have our man. Sam has a fantastic skillset and shows a huge amount of bravery in both attack and defence. We are really excited to see Sam develop under the tutelage of backs coach and highly experienced fly half Tom White.”
