Athletic wing/full back Joe Parkes joins TJs from Esher. A Loughborough University graduate, Joe played for the Loughborough Students team in National 2 North and previously went to Whitgift School. Joe comes from a family of gifted athletes and that is shown in how he looks after his body and in his preparation to training and matches.

On the signing of Joe, Head Coach Seb Sherwood said “We are delighted to welcome Joe to TJs. Having watched the footage of Joe’s National 1 appearances last season we were really impressed by his understanding of the game and his physicality in both attack and defence. When I first met Joe, I was struck by his infectious positivity and his desire to improve as a player. We look forward to working with Joe and helping him to achieve his rugby goals.”
