Two unbeaten squads matched up on Saturday as Tjs headed to Sale FC and came away with another tight victory by 49-62.
A tit for tat game between two sides wanting to play quick and expansive rugby and it was Tjs, and winger Jack Walsh in particular, who enjoyed the game that little bit more.
Walsh scored 5 tries whilst Shadyn Osgood and Connor Lloyd (2) making it 8 in total with Lloyd adding six conversions. Walsh scored two excellent tries the fist when he took on 3 Sale defenders to force his way over the line and the second as he took a pass and dropped the ball straight onto his foot to nudge past his opponent without changing stride. He then reclaimed the ball to sprint over and score. Sublime.
The win means Tjs remain top of the table with Plymouth Albion, the only other unbeaten side in National 1 after four rounds.
