Very sad news of the passing of John Pemble, TRFC and TJ stalwart
Very sad to learn that John Pemble died earlier today. He had been battling poor health for some time.
John was synonymous with the old Tonbridge Club and during his playing career he was a very successful captain of the 1XV.
"Jumble" is a past President of TRFC.
When TRFC and OJRFC merged in 1999, John was elected joint President of TJRFC and it was through his rugby and interest in spoofing that he became widely known and respected particularly within Kent. He was a fantastic ambassador of both clubs and for the game as a whole
