TJRFC Code of Conduct

Tonbridge Juddians RFC Code of Conduct
At TJs, we're proud of the opportunities we offer the local community to get involved with rugby union, from our youngest Minis right through to our senior sides. Rugby is at its best when everyone plays their part, on the pitch and off it, so we ask all our members to promote and uphold the RFU's Core Values:

  • Teamwork — we support each other, celebrate each other, and remember that no one plays alone.
  • Respect — for teammates, opponents, coaches, referees, and everyone on the sideline.
  • Enjoyment — first and foremost, we're here to enjoy our rugby and each other's company.
  • Discipline — we play hard and fair, and we know where the line is.
  • Sportsmanship — we win well, we lose well, and we always shake hands afterwards.

These values apply to everyone involved in the club, players, parents, carers, coaches, officials, and volunteers alike. The example we set on the touchline and in the clubhouse matters every bit as much as what happens on the pitch.

Our Codes of Conduct
Our Codes of Conduct set out what everyone can expect from us, and what we ask of you in return, so that TJs stays a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable place for all. The document below covers four areas:

  • Players
  • Spectators
  • Age Grade Players, Parents, and Carers
  • Coaches, Club Officials, and Volunteers

Every member of TJs is asked to confirm that they have read, understood, and will follow these Codes. Please take a moment to read through the complete Codes of Conduct document attached below.
