Girls Rugby - Pitch Up & Play

The now established TJs Girls section are running a ‘pitch up & play’ event on 22nd May for girls currently in school years 3-6 inc. The event is from 10am through to 11.30am
We are keen to offer Girls a fantastic opportunity to give rugby a go and to increase participation in our younger age groups.
The RFU are introducing a new U12 Girls single age band over the summer and TJs want to give girls the chance to start their rugby journey and continue from Minis through to Juniors and hopefully senior rugby too
Darren Reeves, TJs Community Rugby Officer, and Ed Stockbridge, Girls Section, are reaching out to all TJs and the local schools to encourage Girls and families to join us at the event. Please feel free to email either for more details
No special equipment is required to give it a go but do wear suitable kit and trainers, bring some water plus a smile and plenty of enthusiasm - it will be Fun!
