Travelling TJs

22nd October 2021

TJs hit the road in numbers this weekend with the National 1 squad heading north to Caldy and the Academy at Canterbury on Sunday to name the two extremes.

Caldy sit just above TJs in the table having won 2, drawn 2 and lost 2 to date and it's a first time clash between these two Clubs.  Caldy drew 22 all with Cambridge last weekend whilst TJ were edged out of the spoil by Blackheath back at The Slade.

YOU CAN watch the game LIVE at TJs as Mark "TJTV" Sonnex will be live streaming the game for us for the very first time - Club will be open at 2.45pm

Long trips are nothing new for TJs but this is the first real northern trip so the squad will need to be high energy come game time. Cloe games are seemingly everywhere in national 1 and another tight one is expected this Saturday.

TJs N1 squad - Alex Reid, Joe Duffy, Kieran Sassone, Mark Davey, Will Colderick, Matt Foulds, Truman Sullivan (vc), Ben Ashmore, Matt Walsh (c), Tom White, Murray Galbraith-Lowe, Tom Nicoll, Duncan Tout, Tom Chapman, Harvey Young, Luke Boon, Reece Conlon, Dave Irvine, Charlie Edwards, Conrad Burne and Josh Groocock.

The 3s head to Sittingbourne for a friendly after Ashford 2s cancelled their league tie.

The 3s squad are Matt Shipley, Ben Zaug, George Seal, Billy Roden, Nam Namakando, Ollie Bliss,  Dom Goodchild, Tom Carter, Tom Davies, Karl Robertson, James McCormack, Harry Whitehouse, James Farmer, Peter Fairhurst, Alex Borg, Ed Stockbridge, Matt Humphries, Tom Milburn, Charlie Shea and Sam Carter

On Sunday TJs Ladies head to Cranbrook in the league with a 2pm KO. A thrilling win over Blackheath 2s last Sunday left them with two wins from two so they will be keen to keep that record intact.

TJs Ladies squad - Lilly Godley-Miller, Carly Walker, Katie Hall, Charlie Skilton (c), Sophie Funnell, Tazmin Little, Steph Rukin, Rachel Marsh, Justine McDonnell, Jules Teague, Hattie Gomersall, Sammy Moore, Becky Wood, Sheri Grant, Mary Anderson, Eirlys Withers, Megan Akehurst, Jess Booth, Louise Jackson, Jess Sayce, Sophie Farrant and Tazzy Mayhew

And finally, the Academy head to Canterbury for their U18 National Cup match up
