This Weekend - Stay Alert and Safe at TJs

9th September 2020

We head into another covid impacted weekend at TJs as we look to open the Club up on Saturday afternoons where possible and continue to provide quality rugtby training for our younger players

Saturdays

We will open every Saturday afternoon from 2pm to 6pm.

Rugby on the big TV from BT Sports & SKY.

This Saturday 12th September it is Toulouse v La Rochelle at 2.15pm - Top 14 rugby may be a new experience for many but hopefully TJ ruigby fans will enjoy some socially distanced banter and refreshments

The Club Shop will also be open between 2pm and 4pm

Numbers indoors are restricted so first come first served. Seating only indoors. No standing indoors.

The open sided marquee remains available.

Sundays

We will be open as normal for Minis/Junior practice – families are reminded of the need to stay aware and safe and to maintain social distancing pitchside

Timings and locations as per last Sunday 

The Club Shop will be open between 8.30am and 1.30pm

There will be NO facility to drink/eat or gather inside the Clubhouse.
Please use the outside spaces as appropriate

Follow the one-way system

You will be able to purchase your drinks at the bar. All drinks will be served in plastic glasses to be drunk outside

The kitchen will be open for beverages and food

Queue sensibly inside with social distancing and no large groups

Once you have made your purchase please move away and go outside

Disabled and Ladies toilets are in the clubhouse entrance

Gents toilets are in the changing rooms

Keep appropriate distancing in the toilets and pay attention to the signs restricting numbers

Please respect the safety of all staff and other members by complying with Covid-19 guidance & distancing, and the signage in the clubhouse

Wider guidance
Indoor gatherings are limited to members of any 2 households (or support bubbles), while outdoor gatherings are limited to members of any 2 households (or support bubbles), or a group of at most 6 people from any number of households.

RFU – Local Lockdown advice
Clubs are reminded that the powers around local restrictions lie with their local authorities. We are advised that unless local restrictions specifically mention restrictions on team sports and/or rugby, clubs should follow the National Governing Board’s (RFU) guidelines
