Ladies at the Double and Charitable TJs

11th March 2020

It was supposed to be a super Six Nations rugby weekend and a rest from league action at least on Saturday but the weather and coronavirus have impacted

On Saturday we still have rugby for you with a TJ All Star XV taking on Weavering Warriors in aid of charity

The game is ON at The Slade at 12.45pm.

So why not come along for an afternoon of fundraising and fun. We are told that you'll be treated to a very average game of rugby, with little skill at least from Tjs but a lot of smiles and sweat - especially if they have to play on the 3G!

The Clubhouse will be open  from Noon to all and there will be a unique raffle and auction.

The Wales v Scotland game is still on at the moment with a 2.15pm KO as well

Ticket price: £5 (plus eventbrite charges). Please print out tickets and bring with you on the day.

All proceeds from ticket, food and raffle ticket sales will be split equally between GOSH and Tunbridge Wells Neonatal Unit

For more information on these two charities and why raising funds is critical, please visit our Virgin page where you can also make a donation

On Sunday TJs Pink Ladies are also in action and they have an exciting league and cup double header away at Lewes at 2pm.

The Ladies are 2 points behind league leaders Cranbrook but this is their game in hand. Win and they should secure the title ahead of Cranes and Jersey Reds.

The game is also the next round int he RFU Wmonebs Junior Plate and if they can see off Lewes we will have a semi fainl match against Yeovill at home.

All support very much welcome for both Saturday and Sunday

Heads up ..... Coach to Esher on 21st March - if anyone is interested in a supporters' coach for this important N2S game then please contact Richard Savage asap to confirm interest
