Busy Start to TJ 2019

2nd January 2019

TJs were due to hit the ground running in 2019 with a full range of fixtures and training to look forward to

The 1st XV travel to London Irish WG looking to start the new year where they left the last one, on a winning run.

TJs are unbeaten in their last eight games but can't take bottom-placed LIWG lightly despite happy memories of a convincing home win back in September. LIWG are a different outfit at home and will be targetting January to get their season back on track and a crucial period as they aim to survive at this level.

TJs for their part will be looking for more of the same after a run of largely impressive results stretching back to October. The last game of 2018 against Canterbury was one of the toughest and most impressive and the seasonal weekend off will hopefully have enabled them to recharge their batteries.

The 2s and 3s were also scheduled to play Colfeians and New Ash Green respectively but both opponents have cried off so we have no other games on Saturday now so the CLUBHOUSE  is CLOSED

On Sunday the TJs Pink Ladies were due to play Romford & GP but that game has been postponed until the 10th February.

The Clubhouse will however be open on Sunday as the Minis and Youth teams are back in the fray at The Slade and the Academy U18s are away at Crowborough for a 12.15 KO and the U16s are at home to Canterbury for an 11am KO
