December Arrives with a TJ Bang

28th November 2017

Tjs are back at The Slade on Saturday for a 2.30pm KO against Wimbledon as we near the halfway stage in the N2S season. TJs are 10th but suffered a setback last time out away at Barnstaple. They will want to put that result to bed with a win against the bottom club with Redruth and Taunton next up before we start the return matches with Canterbury away on the 23rd December.

Other exciting games in N2S R13 on Saturday include Chinnor (1st) taking on Taunton Titans (3rd) with Cinderford, who entertain Redruth, looking to claim top spot if Chinnor should fail to win.

Redingensians (4th) and Bury St Edmunds (5th) is another top half clash whilst Worthing will be looking to continue their recent good form and climb up the table with Old Redcliffians the visitors. Henley should have too much at home for Clifton and Barnstaple should add to their recent win over TJs with a trip to Broadstreet who continue to struggle, one off the bottom. London Irish WG v Canterbury is the last mouth watering encounter and one sure to produce some sparks.

Also at home the 4s welcome Blackheath 5s in a friendly fixture with a 2pm KO. The 4s had a 41-13 win over Sittingbourne 2s last Saturday but Blackheath seem likely to provide a much sterner test.

On Sunday afternoon TJ’s Pink Ladies are back in action with an away trip to Old Albanians. TJs have slipped to 6th whilst OAs lie 3rd in a tightly contested WCSE2. A win for TJs could see them leapfrog Lewes and Chesham who are both away to Hammersmith & Fulham (1st) and Hampstead (2nd)

On Sunday morning the U17s are in action at home to Old Elthamians whilst the Minis will be sending representatives to Old Whitgiftians
