Junior Boys (U12s-U15s)

Junior Section

The Junior section covers our Under 12s through to U15s creating a cohesive ‘all age group’ entity over seen by a Junior Manager, John Costello, with age group leads, numerous coaches and an age group Adminstrator.

By the sharing of resources and good practice we have developed a positive impact on player numbers and retention / results and overall development of the playing standards and enjoyment. This leads to a perfect bridge between our Mini section and nationally renowned Academy section.

The club runs a junior fixture list involving all four age groups lead by our Fixture Secretary Ian Buckley.

The Junior section benefits from some amazing past and present sponsorship including Sanlam / ARO / James Andrew International / Bill Westcott and The Schools at Somerhill. These resources have allowed the section to jointly train on Thursday evenings on the Vizards 3G pitch at the Judd School hosted by the Academy coaches.

PLEASE NOTE and abide by the Vizards Conditions of Use when using that facility either as a coach, player or parent/guardian/supporter

In addition several past and present National 1 1st XV and Academy players are involved on Sunday mornings with each age groups, lending invaluable up to date coaching techniques supported admirably by the age group coaches. This external resource and expertise has led to TJs Juniors going from strength to strength.
